My hair falls out and keeps clogging my shower drain. I bought this little device and found that the handle that also holds it over the drain pipe is very flexible. Following the advice of some other reviewers, I drill a small hole in the handle and insert a thin plastic rod perpendicular to the handle so it stays on top of the drainpipe. (I started the hole with a large needle and used a thin disposable eyeliner brush handle cut to the same length as the handle to create a small "stick" for extra grip. Another reviewer used a plastic pencil.) This is a great piece that works great. After a few showers I pulled it out and couldn't believe how much hair was wrapped around the butt. I have to brush it weekly due to severe hair loss, but it's very easy to clean. Be sure to measure the top of your downspout, but most are pretty standard. I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the weak grip needed some work. I have already recommended this product to a number of others.
