Review on Modern Low Lead Single Handle Kitchen Faucet - OWOFAN Pull Down Sprayer In Brass Black & Brushed Nickel. by Eric Hanson

I've been using the same kitchen faucet that came with my house I purchased what seems like forever ago. Unfortunately it had been progressively leaking and the sprayer functionality would make a small flood in the kitchen.I had been looking for a modern kitchen faucet that had spray operation, with the faucet arm being held in place. The one thing I was looking for was a good quality brass internals - which looking in the 3rd picture you can see the milling was done. I liked seeing this - it gives me confidence this should last for a while.Installation - it was very easy to install - however a couple things to note:1) This does NOT come with a baseplate. That is a separate item to purchase if you have a 3 hole sink. I will review that separately.2) Measure your water line distance - while the supply lines are long, my hot side supply valve was 2" too far away and required a trip to the store to get an extension. If you can do this ahead of time you won't have to run to the store.3) If you have a basin wrench, that will make tightening the nut on the underside much easier. I used my pair of channel locks and under cabinet yoga to reach in to tighten4) This does not come with teflon tape. I highly recommend any installations to use teflon tape to reduce any potential water leakageThe gaskets on the underside of the faucet seem quality and so far in my testing there have been no leaks.Operation is as expected - click the button on the nozzle and you get a high volume spray or stream. The holder does rotate 270 degrees so it can be moved out of the way if needed. The handle to adjust temperature and volume of water has a good amount of resistance that I am not worried about breaking it. It also feels to be brass or metal versus my past plastic one.The finish is a good quality black matte which helps to contrast with the other items / appliances (mine are stainless and black).Overall the faucet appears to be well made and easy to install. I wish it came with the base plate, but that is a minimal cost to ensure it looks great.
