Funny story. I have used this adapter with a Canon 50mm f1.8 it never snaps but I love this lens and it has always been quite snug on my body. I was filming a group at a local bar, someone hit me and the lens fell off the camera onto the concrete, adapter first, and somehow managed to bend the adapter enough that it now fits perfectly and snaps in nicely. I can't remove the adapter from the lens, but I only use it on my M3 anyway, so that's it. I wouldn't buy any more of these. I am attaching a photo of a bent adapter on the lens.
