
The left pedal went in very easily as it should. On the other hand, the right one simply cannot be screwed in cleanly. I've worked with bikes for 30 years, so yes I know the threads on the left and right pedals are different. I even tried lubricating the pedal/handle on the right side to turn it, but it didn't quite work. At this point I'm afraid to unscrew it let alone ruin the threads so I'll probably leave it half screwed in and see how it feels. This isn't my crank because before actually trying to screw it in, I tried two other pedals and they went perfectly smooth, even without a wrench.
