Poor parts instructions

Just installed and the owner's manual says it was made specifically for the 2008 Mitsubishi 2.0/2.4 non-turbo automatic transmission, but it's clear that's definitely not the case is. the best and totally unsuitable for this car and was not made for this particular car. You get what you pay for I guess. There are no pictures in the instructions. The male/female vibrator nut has nothing for the male end to screw into which means the air intake literally hangs there and is held together by 3 clips, 2 on the throttle body and a small clip on the crankcase ventilation hose. I called tech support twice to try and get help and was delayed over 20 minutes because I waited in line first and then switched to voicemail from someone named Kai? It's 3:30pm on the East Coast, so there's no reason for one person to answer the phone and then no one's on tech support. Not a single call to answer my question. I look at photos and videos online and everyone skips this step and their consumption hangs there. Also, no heat shield is included. So good luck finding one to buy online once you know you need one. I'll most likely spend another half hour of my life disassembling and installing a standard intake filter to get that junk back.

Pros
  • Reusable dry filter with integrated speed stack
Cons
  • Nothing
