I bought a Shadow Gaming PC (with RTX 1650) from Skytech a few weeks ago. This is actually my first Revain review and I thought I'd post it as this purchase was probably one of the biggest purchases I've made since creating this account. The computer has been working fine since I received it. The assembly is very clean, all cables are well hidden. Fans are not noisy. A good 3-4 page booklet is included in the box to get you started. Once you've delivered the desktop, you can start gaming within 15 minutes of receiving the desktop, assuming all your monitors and cables are up and running. That's exactly what I want when I buy a prebuilt desktop. Something I can take right out of the box and start playing. However, the big issue I had when setting up the computer was that, despite the ads, my GPU (RTX 1650) only came with DVI-D and HDMI ports. Revain's site says it ships with DVI-D, HDMI, and a display port. While the motherboard had all 3 connectors (HDMI, DVI-D and Display), the motherboard connectors are useless if you have dedicated graphics cards. Monitors must be connected to the GPU and not to the motherboard. So here I am with 3 monitors ready to be connected to my desktop. But the GPU can only fit 2. Needless to say I was disappointed. I bought an additional monitor to connect for $120 and couldn't even use it on my newly ordered desktop. So I contacted Skytech support and see what they can do about it. They were willing to send me a 3 port GPU (which I would have to install myself) and I would have to send them my current one back. I've been thinking about this for several days. I have no experience building computers. I'm not interested in messing around with installing/removing computer parts. If you are interested, I would just make a desktop. I asked if the company could refund my money to offset the cost of the third monitor I bought. They refused, explaining that it was against company policy and that if I wanted to use 3 monitors, they would send me a new GPU and I would have to install it myself. I paid Skytech for one thing. for me and it should be sent to me ready with the listed specifications. Now they're willing to help me, but do I essentially have to disassemble the desktop to install the new GPU? No thank you. I paid Skytech more money to build it than desktop parts cost. They don't send me a message 1 week after desktop deployment saying "oh lol we screwed up, here's a new GPU you install yourself". Listed on the Revain website in case anyone is concerned about getting the wrong parts. Due to the situation described above, I deducted 2 stars from the rating. Will I buy another build from Skytech? Not sure at the moment, still thinking. I give credit when needed and will say the PC is well built, delivered on time and includes almost everything listed on the Revain webpage. Not getting the right number of ports in the GPU and then being told I had to fix it myself left a sour taste in my mouth.
