Review on 🖥️ E-sds DisplayPort KVM Switch: Dual Monitor 4K DP KVM Switch with 2 Ports, 2 Extra USB Ports, and Audio/Mic Output by George Jacobson

Background - I have an HP EliteBook laptop with docking station, a desktop computer, a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse with a Logitech Unified Receiver, and an LG ultrawide monitor. I've been using StarTech KVM (SV231DPU2) for a few years and it's worked great, but I decided to add a second monitor, so I bought an E-sds DisplayPort KVM switch because it supported dual monitors and 4K, but ended up sending him back. It was quick and the packaging was secure. I also liked the fact that the cables weren't included as I needed custom lengths, but you do need (6) DisplayPort cables and (2) USB cables. My Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard with a Logitech Unified Receiver worked fine on Windows 10 on both my laptop and desktop. Their customer service was excellent and although they were unable to fix any problems with the unit they offered a replacement and were top notch. Cons - The company does not have a website or phone number for technical support, so all communication must go through Revain. I spent 2 days trying to get the hotkey toggle to work with their tech support but it never worked. The select button on the device was very buggy. Sometimes a single press activated the exchange, sometimes a double press was required, sometimes a 2-4 second hold was required, and sometimes various combinations of one or both were required, I never figured it out. When my desktop rebooted, the BIOS screen showed "No keyboard detected", this did not happen with StarTech KVM. In some cases, when switching from desktop to laptop, only one monitor started. In this case, the only solution was to restart the laptop in the docking station.
