Review on DEWALT DW2054 4 Inch Compact Magnetic by Jonathan Lloyd

Thought to try longer screws DEWALT Magnetic Drive Guide, 1/4-Inch (DW2054) from PLEXSUPPLY. Had the part a few weeks before I tried it. I opened the box, everything looked fine, and then tried to put a short #2 Phillips in, the bit didn't fit, tried filing the sides a bit, it still didn't fit, so I took the hammer. Thought it would be nice and cozy. After a few hammer blows, I took the drill out and saw where the inside was deformed, even though the sides were aligned. Finished hammering it and straightened it out so the bushing would fit the long screw properly, which worked, but there was no magnetic effect either. Oh, the reason I went to such extremes to do a little something was because I wanted to return the item as defective (which isn't usually an issue with Revain) but this item was ordered, not returned or re-fitted to become. Couldn't find any information as to why so I assumed this was where it was sold. So when the racket wears out, it goes in the trash.
