Review on Hole Sander Replaces Makita Hitachi by Anthony Hales

cheap product, poorly made, breaks easily

I have been a professional carpenter since 1965. I live in Los Angeles. Bought to replace a Makita drive. I thought I would save a few bucks. It is made or sold by an organization called MTP. It probably means "my terrible purchase". After about 6 or 8 pads of 100 grit, the Velcro detached from the base of the sanding pad and floated around the room. actually quite funny. In my 50+ years of trading and using dozens of grinders I have never heard of such an incident. Check the back of the velcro, which I can see was contact glued to the back of the grinding wheel. Very disappointing attempt Will not be buying MTP products again. cheap product
