This is a great product. I bought this while restoring my grandfather's old handsaw and used it on the handle to preserve color and keep it from drying out. It's very easy to use and looks great when it's done. I've covered the handle in wood wax to seal and protect it and it looks fantastic. Since then I've switched most finishes on my wood projects to boiled linseed oil when not using stains for a soft satin finish. For the price, it's worth a try and I'm willing to bet it will become your new favorite.
