Great product for cleaning the house

I bought wooden chairs that come with instructions for oiling with linseed oil. This product worked beautifully and was easy to use.

Perfect finishing touch

I'm a stonemason and it was recommended that I use linseed oil for the finishing touch. Wow! Excellent shine and durability. Use it on alabaster and love it.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Only available in white

Auto-ignition

Read warning label. This thing literally randomly set my rag basket on fire and almost burned it, luckily nothing flammable bothered it except other rags nearby.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Frequency

Great product for polishing and maintaining wood

Easy to use. I used a brush to make the job easier. I put an old shower curtain underneath to catch the drips and then wiped with a soft rag. I tried putting on rubber gloves but my hands got too hot. Washes off very easily. There are several more projects to use it.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other pickaxes

An indispensable item for waste wood and wood protection.

I wish I had known about this product sooner. I bought it because I had teak furniture with linseed oil treatment instructions. Since I've had it I've used it to restore old doors, window frames and floors and other outdoor wooden furniture. This is one of the easiest things I've ever done to restore the look of my house.

Pros
  • One-year trial version
Cons
  • There are problems

dries slowly if at all

I'm giving five stars because I don't have enough experience to know if this is normal for boiled linseed oil. I oiled the project with oil as directed, rubbed off the excess, left 24 hours between coats. It's been two weeks since the last of the three coats was applied and it still has a toxic stench so it's not safe to keep indoors. The finish is fine, but if you put it on paper, oil stains will soon appear. The weather here is warm and dry. I will try something else.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

Old school style for your woodworking projects

This is a great product. I bought this while restoring my grandfather's old handsaw and used it on the handle to preserve color and keep it from drying out. It's very easy to use and looks great when it's done. I've covered the handle in wood wax to seal and protect it and it looks fantastic. Since then I've switched most finishes on my wood projects to boiled linseed oil when not using stains for a soft satin finish. For the price, it's worth a try and I'm willing to bet it will become your…

Fixes bleach stains on tiles!

I used this in a very unorthodox way. Our bathroom tiles were stained with bleach on the shower wall. It had been sprayed with bleach, leaving unsightly bleach stains on the dark, unpainted tiles. I read somewhere that this boiled linseed oil can help. I tried everything and nothing worked. No teaspoon, no grinding, no penetrating sealant. Nothing. It works out. It evens out the color, makes everything look the same again and also leaves a nice glossy finish. Really super saved me as the only…
