I bought this machine to build a small refrigerator that I can use to cool small items on my way home from the store. I paid $16 for it a few months ago, but now it's $44 and it's not that much anymore. I started with 1 cu.ft. Styrofoam box from the Dollar Store. The photos tell the story of the building. The best temperature range between the ambient temperature and the temperature inside the cooler is 30° Fahrenheit, which is pretty bad, but it's the best cooling you can expect. This requires around 120 watts of power. Since I plug it into the cigarette lighter, no big deal. fun project.
