As with all generations of shoes, each generation seems to have been made with cheaper or inferior components and the price has steadily increased or remained the same. The Bigshot Light 3 doesn't come in 2.5, 2 or Original quality but it's still a good shoe and I'm generally happy with it except for the price. It has a pretty decent sock for the wider foot I need and while it feels a little smaller than the 2.5 it's almost imperceptible. The fit is good throughout and comfortable enough, the laces might be a bit short if like me you want to lace up another set of eyelets. Great heel and arch support is good too, the shoe isn't as breathable as the original but none of these generations were. The sock offers a fairly wide platform with good support, and the weight of the shoe is almost unnoticeable. The pairs I received were comfortable enough to play a few sets on day one without the awkward breaking-in period of the shoes, which is fantastic. Overall this is a good shoe and looks pretty good.
