This is a good fan. I replaced an old 60cfm fan that had a dying motor and I can definitely tell the difference is in the airflow/moisture removal. With my old fan, my bathroom would still fill up with moisture while showering, and now my bathroom mirror hardly fogs up even after a long shower. The fan is louder than my old fan, but not by much, and the difference in airflow is a good trade-off for me. The reason I only gave this fan motor 3 stars is because it is listed for installation in a NuTone 8663 fan motor that I have. However, the rectangular plug cutout is about half an inch to the left (relative to the product photo) compared to both the old fan motor assembly and the location of the socket inside the vent. This manufacturing defect required me to alter the connector hole to properly fit the fan motor, turning a 10 minute fix into a over hour fix. If you are advertising a motor that is compatible with a specific set of fan rims, be sure to build it to fit that rim.
