The flood light portion does a great job of providing light at all angles including up .

The Masione 24&#34; Flood Spot Combo Beam is very bright. As said before there is only 20&#34; of double row lights. The other 4&#34; is including the brackets for mounting. The light can be adjusted with the teeth in the mounting bracket, but there is a big difference in between settings as far as the angle of light projection. This light bar will illuminate a dark street or back road very well. The flood light portion does a great job of providing light at all angles including up and out. You can see tall trees. I found myself looking for wildlife in the tree branches as I drove down a tree covered lane. I have not tried the more expensive alternatives, but for the price of this light bar, I made a good decision.
