Not brighter and some do not fit. Not recommended.
Installed at Avalanche 2004. Map and reading lights emit much less light than the original bulbs and sometimes do not turn off completely. Door lights will not fit through the lamp hole. You will need to cut the plastic on each door light lens. The dome light is only slightly brighter, but heats up very quickly.
