This greatly improved my screen time and increased my productivity during college. Now I would say that the vast majority of people are spending less money on their monitor as it has been a huge improvement that changes the whole experience of using a computer, gaming, studying etc. I really didn't want to spend that much on it, so I wouldn't t! I used most of my Amazon Reward Points and then spent relatively little. Would I have spent all of this right on the screen? It's hard to say, but I'm very impressed with the upgrade that has brought this to where I spend most of my time now (studying). If you can afford it and still use a baby monitor, you should definitely get one or something similar in size/quality.
