Well, there are high refresh rate monitors and monitors that are factory calibrated for color accuracy. Having opted for quality over quantity, I'm happy to say that high refresh rates are overrated. The monitor works perfectly. I complain that I have to use the 1990s-style physical buttons on the monitor to select an input, which is cumbersome and time-consuming. For the price of this monitor, Dell should have offered a software option.

I wouldn't play games or watch movies on it, but it's a great replacement for a multi-monitor, multi-computer setup. Productivity has gone up, eye strain has gone down, sticker shock has gone and I can never go back to another environment.

The main reason was the "single cable solution" advertised, which presumably lets you plug a USB-C cable straight into your MacBook and connect all your peripherals to the multiple ports offered by the monitor.
