Update: The stand is terrible too. I've managed to align it on the wall before, but without additional support, the monitor sits crooked. Adding pads to one side just makes it bounce more than usual. The screen is sharp and looks just as good as my comparable Samsung model. I'm a fan of ultrawide monitors as I do a lot of Photoshop/3D, web development/design and other combinations that work well on a wide monitor. With two separate monitors, you lose focus on your mouse pointer and it always slows you down, but with the curved ultra-wide screen, switching between the two programs feels natural and quick. The USB ports are dead (connected to my keyboard and mouse). The side ones still work. I work from a laptop and depend on these extra ports. After spending that much money on a monitor, they shouldn't be a problem. $10 USB hubs have lasted me for years, but Dell has had constant problems with these external hubs since the 3415. That was the main reason I chose this monitor over the same Samsung I already have. I wouldn't make the same choice again as that option is unreliable and I wonder what other ports might go wrong later.
