Review on Zotemo Brass Bike Bell Pro: All Metal, Loud Decent Tone for Adult & Kids - Fits 0.79 to 1 Inch Handlebars by Bud Crabtree

The adult bike bell you've been looking for!

This is honestly the best bike bell I've ever had, wish I had one when I was a kid. It's small, looks and sounds sleek, is easy to install and produces a punchy yet melodic sound. I have the black one and it matches the rest of my gear - you don't even know it's there! Ideal for adult cyclists. It doesn't make the grinding sound of traditional bicycle bells because it doesn't use gears. And that's why it doesn't make that annoying chime when you're driving on bumpy roads (and I have LOTS of those). Which brings me to the problem that it doesn't "work" out of the box like some people do. called; I think some people are overlooking the point of this bell's design - you have to use your thumb to push the lever down a bit aggressively and quickly, rather than depressing and releasing it. It takes a little getting used to, but mine worked great out of the box. And while you might be able to modify it by slightly bending the hammer inwards, I think they intentionally designed it so the hammer doesn't hit the bell on bumpy roads. But what works for you. I don't yet know if it's loud enough for an urban setting (I live in the suburbs), but I'm pretty sure it will. If you are an adult looking for a ring that doesn't make you feel like an eight year old, BUY IT! (And yes, kids can use it too)
