We got this for my wife's WFH table and the base is quite large. Sitting at a 48-inch Jarvis standing desk, she decides after a while that she needs help reclaiming some desk space. So I found a hand that will supposedly carry the weight of the monitor plus a few pounds. However. Because of its width and curvature, the focus is on the viewer rather than the back of the monitor near the mounting point. This puts so much stress on the monitor arm that it tends to sag forward and needs periodic readjustment, which is annoying. I used a wrench to tighten the hinge as hard as I could and it's held up ever since, but buyers beware: attempt assembly This thing on a monitor arm is no picnic.
