This is a good product. You don't need an internet connection to view all the images on the screen. In my case we are using 4 cameras and right clicking shows 4 images. The only downside is that the mounts that hold the cameras in place don't handle the wind well. Luckily we're not in Kansas, we're in Southern California. I had to set the cameras this morning as it's been quite windy for the past two days.

This is a great surveillance system! It was well packaged with clear instructions. Setup is also very easy. You will need to mount your cameras close to an outlet as they require their own power supply (which was included). VCR storage is huge. I am VERY VERY happy with this system. Now I can easily check which dogs are marking their territory on my furniture!

After almost a month I can honestly say this system is fantastic! I installed one camera on the outside of each door and the rest inside and the day and night vision for both areas is excellent. They just plug in and work, which is what I needed in my old wired house. There is quite a bit of information stored on the hard drive and the remote access app works great with my S8+. I installed my first Anran 4CH remote security camera at the campsite and it works perfectly. It automatically notifies me on my phone and tablet of any activity around the RV. How easy it was to install this security system. As they say, plug and play! All I had to do was plug the cameras into a power source (I might have to get creative with an extension cord) and they connect to the monitor wirelessly. Very easy setup. I connected the supplied USB mouse and HDMI monitor to the recorder and turned both devices on. Time. They are pre-numbered from 1 to 4 and the recorder will recognize and connect to each in a matter of seconds. Recording on the supplied 1TB disc starts automatically.
