I received my Yellow Madison Park bedspread and pillowcases 2 weeks ago and am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. That's all I was looking for and more. The fit is true to size. My queen bed is a bit high but it covers both sides of the bed very well and I don't have to pull it to the side to adjust it and it's long enough that I can fold it up to give it a polished look if it wants to be done. I examined it immediately and found no flaws like some. It's reversible and very well made. The damask pattern is great. Soft to the touch and can be made elegant or "homey" depending on how you plan to use it. I washed it in cold water the day after I received it and it has retained its shape, colour, stitching and design. No lumps or shifts in the filling. Dried on medium heat, the polyester didn't shrink an inch, as expected. I live in hot Texas where our nights can stay in the 75-80 degrees and believe it or not it actually keeps me cool at night. It breathes great and doesn't retain heat that makes you sweat. This is NOT a heavy comforter/duvet, but definitely not a light one. You can't see through it and it's not hard on your feet. This is the perfect Spring/Summer/Early Fall bedspread! You can also put blankets under the winter if necessary. Now for the color: the yellow I received is NOTHING like the few descriptions I've read where some have seen a slight green cast in different lighting. I have posted pictures and I hope you can see that this is a REAL creamy yellow. This is the EXACT color you will see when you beat the butter and sugar after 5 minutes. It doesn't look like the image posted when choosing a color for yellow. I love lots of descriptions when choosing a color. So if you are looking for a creamy shade of yellow, this is it. This is a soft shade that goes well with any color in the room. While ALL of her colors are beautiful, I was looking for a summer color and that's exactly what I got. I will order more for my mother. She loved it too and couldn't believe the quality and beauty. Needless to say, I only paid $31 for it. Aha! BUT. . . it is worth full price!
