Review on Sensibo Sky Smart A/C Controller: Compatible with Various Air Conditioners by Pete Brown

I bought this device a few weeks ago after ruling out some similar devices from my search after reading about the problems they were causing. Sensibo Sky was one of the cheap options with all the features I needed (Alexa, App, SmartThings - not currently supported but works for me - but with no issues. The app is very easy to use. It only took a few minutes to install , and before long I was able to ask Alexa to turn my air conditioner on or off. Admittedly, I wasn't entirely thrilled with this purchase at first. It worked, albeit without the range of the IR blaster and some features as my dedicated air conditioner not working 100% i resigned myself to having chosen the wrong product then i remembered i had read a review somewhere that suggested contacting customer service pic i got another response from om Alex says you'll be up and running right away I went to bed and woke up a day or two later with new features that go better with my AC Matched skills that appear in the app. They worked! I told Alex about a few more quirks with the app and my air conditioner and within a day all the functions were working perfectly! I still had a few questions and suggestions, which Alex answered quickly and politely, and since then my Sensibo Sky has been working perfectly. While working with Alex I also looked into the SmartThings integration and found a particularly helpful thread on the SmartThings website. After some tweaking, my Sensibo Sky now works almost perfectly with SmartThings. Not bad for the lack of official support! My Echo Dot supports it with the appropriate skills enabled. All in all I can recommend this device. Very economical, intuitive app and AMAZING support for any issues. I absolutely made the right purchase here and recommend it to everyone!
