There are 16 rolls of tape. about the same number (I estimated about 24 yards of each color). They are wound on thin foam spools with pencil sized holes. So if you have a pencil-sized wand to wind up with, you can unroll the tape like a pro. The band itself is quite thin. it's not great quality. But I think the price is right. I use ribbon to wrap the candy bars that I bring on the plane for the crew when I travel. So. it doesn't have to be super strong. The colors are bright and cheerful. I pulled off the first one at the edge, dissolved it. So carefully remove the tape stoppers or you won't have any tape! :) Overall I'm happy with the purchase - however, I never hesitate to update my reviews when I find new information useful and I hope this information has been useful to you. UPDATE 9/2020 - my second purchase. NOTE: The tape is still wrapped around a foam core with a pencil sized hole in the center. It is very important that you hold it on the styrofoam core for easy handling. If you accidentally fall off the core of the tape, it's a mess you'll end up rewinding. I'm thinking about getting a dowel to then attach the casters. My husband is practical. Maybe he could make me a wooden frame to put a dowel on to roll it up. Seems like a lot, but I like less frustration!
