Review on Kraus KGD 433B Double Granite Kitchen by Jim Dahl

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful sink. but not without flaws (photo)

This review relates to a black Kraus sink with a double 50/50 closure. The size of the sink is standard and it seemed more than enough depth to me. We installed this undetmount and it looks amazing. If you are looking for a modern sink, then this model is for you. Note that this sink has a DOUBLE mount, meaning you can install or insert under the mount. So the choice is yours. They also have a single mount option that is cheaper. So if you already know how you're going to mount it, you can save some money and buy the single mount option. This sink has a total of 5 cutouts for your faucet (3) and other accessories (2) such as water filters and soap dispensers. You can cut them out or leave them. Although this sink is modern and beautiful, I really had a big problem keeping it clean. It's not washable like most sinks, and simply wiping it down with soap and water won't bring it back to normal. Check out the pictures to see what the sink looks like after trying to clean it. I was obviously frustrated with this issue and did a little research and found that using Dawn brand soap helped with dusty aftermath. Because of the special formula they use, it must be dawn. I've used it and found it really helps. In general, due to the specifics of cleaning, the sink is one star less. It doesn't look like the sinks you're used to. No pain, no gain, right? Beauty takes work. Overall I'm happy with the sink, apart from the cleaning issues. If I had the choice I would buy it again because it looks good on its own. Enjoy. Oh, and I would recommend a long spout faucet so you don't have to fill pots, cups, etc around the edges and could be closer to the center of the sink.
