Leakage Problem Easily Solved

This product will probably need some modification, then it will probably work well for you. The LED bulb has a chronic (based on other reviews and my experience) leakage problem. The LED is in a rubber stopper; water is slowly dripping somewhere in this seat or between the rubber stopper and the plastic. It drips into the tank, so no problem. The problem with the cable leaking from the LED: when water drips on it, it travels along the cable and leaves the device. When I first got the unit, after reading previous reviews (see Waterfall Medium) I put it in the sink for an hour with no problems. Then I put it in my chameleon panther cage and after an hour it was all over the place. At first I was confused. After studying, in the first variant, the chord went up, in the cage - down. Eventually I realized that the drop went along the chord. I didn't need the LED anyway, so I pulled the LED out, filled the hole with hot glue (silicone glue would work too), and the problem was solved; since then the machine has been running perfectly. If you need an LED you can glue it with a glue gun/silicone or make sure the cable is at the lowest point where it attaches to the LED and goes up from there (or make a drip loop like we did in the aquarium hobby to say). .
