Exactly what I was looking for to connect LED lights to my ATV. I don't think wiring directly to accessories is the best method as it complicates maintenance, removal and replacement. A fast connection facilitates maintenance and subsequent replacement on the go. I wasn't expecting them to be submersible but they seem waterproof enough to allow for a hassle free bike wash after a ride like all factory bikes. Connections. I would recommend using dielectric grease inside the connector and gluing heat shrink tubing over the connections for maximum weather protection. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the cable. I'm a data and security professional and while I would say they are actually 18 AWG (not 16 AWG. The bigger the number, the smaller the wire) they are beautifully finished and good quality with thick insulation. Enough power to light up 1.5 amps! I'll let you know later if I run into any problems, but so far I'm impressed.
