Review on Black Shimano PD-T421 CLICK'R Pop Up Mechanism Pedals by David Perez

My wife and I are avid cyclists and have been using SPD-SL road cleats for a number of years. We haven't ridden that much and decided to replace the Shimano SPD pedals again for more comfort. Love the functionality of being able to click and use the flat side of the pedal. I bought a set for my wife and wanted to use an old pair I had at home. During testing, I found that the flat side of the pedal had more surface area for more efficient pedaling than the other pair I had, so I bought another set for a larger bike. We've done short 10-15 mile rides a few times so far and we love these pedals, we love the convenience of being able to walk in our shoes again. (Giro Junction MTB). The click-R pedals make it very easy to get in and out of the cleats, almost too easy, may need an adjustment to make them a little firmer. As mentioned, this would be ideal for beginners. Overall very happy with these pedals.
