At first I thought it was a return. The door is offset slightly (very slightly) and the spring on opening makes the clock pop out of your hand, so it's best to attach a chain. The plant feels weak like it's about to break, but so far so good. This clock shows amazing time. I had a third pocket watch, the other two were added from a couple to five minutes a DAY. This one can lose from 30 seconds to a minute every day from a day and a half to 2 days, so much more accurate. And that's exactly why you buy a watch, to tell the time. That's why this review gets 5 stars. Now I'll change it if the good times don't last, so to speak. But for now, this watch is excellent with some caveats. The chain is better than others I've had and the end that attaches to the belt slides over it easily. On other occasions I've had to detach the strap and insert the loop, so that's a big improvement too. Update: 21st September The clock stopped at 8:30 last night. I've had it a day for three months, and up until last night it was keeping time excellently. What a waste of money not having to buy a new watch every three months.
