I've been a huge fan of Eric's for several years and an active subscriber to his blog ([.]) and initially stumbled upon him while searching for him gear reviews when I bought my first camera. While I've found each of them to be extremely valuable in my development as a photographer and would have no hesitation in recommending any of them, I've learned that one of the best things about attending workshops is that it just makes you want to get out there and be there because for me, one of the biggest challenges I face as a non-professional photographer is maintaining this passion and inspiration for photography in my daily life. Street Notes is the antidote to this all-too-common complaint. By providing a library of well-structured assignments designed by an experienced photographer/teacher, Street Notes essentially serves as a pocket seminar for intermediate and advanced learners that costs many times less than a live class. And when used in conjunction with Eric's blog, Street Notes only offers live post-task critique compared to the traditional workshop model. Don't get me wrong, nothing beats the experience of a really good seminar or a personal critique, but $20 Street Notes is worth every penny.
