These would be perfect for a 6 x 6 post. But there is only like 1/4" on either of installation when drilling holes into a 4 x 4 post. The installation holes could have easily been closer together. Other than that, they look like they should be great. BUT definitely NOT for a 4" x 4" deck post.
- Works as described. Nice colors. Been installed for about 2 months now and still working as expected.
- The adhesive backing may not be strong enough to keep the lights in place
