Terrible purchase, only wasted money.

Whoever is interested, I can send equally good target photos taken with this and my other Canon gear (the 5D-4 and the 5D-3, both of which have been retired so as to avoid confusion) without having to say a word. Minimal changes were made for version 3, and now the stub is at 3.5; what does this mean? I'll tell you what it means: a huge flaw in the design was fixed by hiding it less well.

Pros

After a three-year hiatus, my filmmaking skills have declined and my equipment has become increasingly clunky.

Cons

In general, the lens's periphery becomes cloudy, much like a monocle, though not to such an extent; well, no one could fix it in Hong Kong; in Hong Kong, a lens block was replaced for under 60,000, plus shipping and insurance.
