Dissatisfied with the product

Just installed this product yesterday, found it had the wrong screw size but managed to get it to work. Also, the barn door has very little clearance and this lock will not be secure. If you overtighten the screws, the lock's ability to slide will be reduced to zero and will not move. Unfortunately a terrible design for a barn door. It may be better to install a rebated sliding door.
