Check your electricity needs! Don't blame the management system! I needed this for a custom exhaust setup and the low speed was really too low and underpowered for sustained/long term performance. Even variable-speed motors should not be operated at less than 40% power for long periods of time. So for my application it was a two stage controller; Maximum and average, and the slow speed is too low for the motor. Also check that the maximum power is suitable for the fan you are using, otherwise you may have a reduced speed at maximum power. Also, be aware of the footprint, it's deep enough, but an extra deep switch plate may be needed if the box is packed with thick wires. Overall a quiet and quality product replacement - recommended
