Warning for Nespresso CitiZ Type D111: It is not possible to insert the pod from the top and close the lid. After a little experimentation, we found it is possible to insert the pod from the bottom while cafefully sliding it along front inside wall and then while pressing the pod against the puncture mechanism, we could close the lid. Once you have brewed the espresso, you will need to use a flat tool to manually remove the pod since the steel pods get wedged. (The usual mechanism pulls the pods out only from bottom causing the pod to tilt, preventing you from opening the lid completely, and hence the steel pods get wedged. A flat tool will allow you to pull the pod straight out with a gentile uniform force across the top and bottom of the pods.)
