Review on πŸ’¨ Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition RGB CPU Air Cooler with SF120R RGB Fan, Anodized Gun-Metal Black, Brushed Nickel Fins, 4 Copper Heat Pipes for Enhanced Cooling Performance – Compatible with AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1151 Processors by Marc Oner

Another 212 for fans and cooling

Not much to say here, the 212 has been around for quite some time and has always had a reputation for performance on a tight budget, and in this case a bit of style. I prefer the mounting system they used in this version to other systems I've used, especially when it comes to installing the fan. The plastic anti-vibration clip is way better than the old wire clips they used, mainly because it actually stays attached to the fan and won't fall off if a fly coughs next to it during the assembly process. As for the cooling performance. , this is absolutely normal. I use these on a Ryzen 5 3600 and I am fully satisfied with both the temperature and the noise development. However, I have a feeling that if I was going to overclock seriously, I'd probably want something more powerful, but I don't plan on overclocking this thing past stock speeds, at least not right now. Good budget cooler, I would buy again.
