From the catalog photos your door size seems a little out of control which is a bit unruly for most people. But the measurements they show in the other picture are accurate which is why I used them. I didn't want a big giant thing and what I got is perfect for my needs. I have a closet off the living room where I store things like records, blankets, extra pillows, etc., as well as most of my wallets and bags. Sometimes I'm lazy and leave my bags near the closet instead of opening the closet and hanging them inside. So I figured a hook on the outside would keep me tidy but still let me be lazy. ; ) It fits perfectly with one of the doors as the closet opens in the middle. Also looks good against a white background. And the hooks are good and wide, not narrow things. You've got a good lip, too, so keep things tight. It's a bit wide for a door - and actually most of my doors - but it has a screw hole that can be tightened at the top of the door. For me I just used a thin double sided tape instead and it worked fine. I will not put very heavy things on it, otherwise I might go with the screws.
