I returned this item but thought it would be helpful to let others know a little more in advance. First, the shadow of light is blue. I have another clip on the lamp and there is a choice of warm light or cool light. Little did I know there would be cool light on this model and it seriously hampered my comfort of seeing my work. Secondly, the battery life really isn't that great. My desk lamp stays on for hours because it's so dark in my living room. On the lower versions, the light doesn't give much light, so I had to use only high ones. Reading the instructions, I found that the battery only lasts 4-6 hours on high power, which is far from what I need. I am currently using a desk lamp clip that needs to be plugged into my USB port. He lost contact and flickered. I bought it in the hope that I could do without a mains plug at all. It did not work. I connected the USB cable to my computer and now I'm fine. Just a little bit to know about this lamp which was really a quality product.
