In 1975 while stationed at RAF Upper Heyford in England I built the coffee table shown in the photos. Over the years of use and several moves, I felt it was time to polish and update the coffee table. I used Yonico 1/16 inch straight cutters along with a radius forming tool I made to create a smaller radius to fit into the cut outs on each end of the table top. The deal was made free hand I have to admit it was decided because I will be 72 in November. My friend suggested I have a friend who has a CNC that will do this for me. I said I'm old fashioned and I like doing my own work. I hope to show the finished work as soon as I'm done, because coping with the Texas heat wasn't easy either.
