Review on Security Monitor Firmware Upgraded 9800ADHS Plus Security & Surveillance by Jeff Perez

I had the opportunity to test this pup yesterday and I'm glad I bought it. On my way to a customer who was installing 8 IP cameras, I received a call from a customer who was having an issue with one of their cameras and Swann kept sending them the wrong camera. With this tester I was able to find the right camera. It turns out he needs a TVI camera and the company keeps sending him an SDI camera that is not compatible with his TVI DVR. After troubleshooting this camera with a tester, I get another call about a network issue. I had the opportunity to use a cable tester and cable finder. Very happy with the unit as a whole. I also show my client where her 8 IP cameras can be located. I like having the right tool at work and that tool finds a new tool bag. Note: Does not support SDI cameras as the market has gradually stopped releasing SDI cameras. I didn't need this setup.
