Not bad, relatively easy with know-how. Difficult for the average Joe.

You will need a heat gun to remove the touchpad circuit board from the original part and install it on the new one. It is very easy to overtighten the screws and damage the face of the panel. It would be nice if new glue was included. Get your own glue or try to reuse the original.
