This is a portable printer, that was very clear on the ad, that it is thermal paper. Based off what the ad states knowing that going in, there is no problem with this printer. Thermal paper type printing is great for not needing ink and can print out document type jobs with even black and white images. It is not meant to be a photo printer but can print basic images in a pinch when traveling.Yes, you need thermal paper to use it instead of regular ink printing paper. That would be the only con if any for future needs, as it is specific type paper that you can’t use with hp ink jet printers. It is a small printer that you can easily carry in your bag for events on the go.Charges quickly and battery holds a charge for a long time. The app is easy to use and works on my phone easily. It connects to the printer with no issue to print.Used this at a festival event for printing out instructions and receipts and it worked quickly and was easy to read. The size is great and not needing a cord when its already charged is a good thing at the festivals I go to l, where power supply strips are limited and not available most times.
