Two sets of these gauges are available, one for cars and one for home air conditioning. The 3 way kit I use on cars has worked flawlessly on literally hundreds of cars for over two years. The 4-way manifold kit is designed with a type of gasket that does not fit tightly onto the hoses, and simply moving the manifold while connecting will loosen the hose and cause it to leak. I've had a few other pros try them and they all agreed that the only way to ensure the hoses don't leak is to use pliers to tighten them much harder than necessary and this will shorten the life of the hose Significantly shorten hoses and brass fittings. Aside from those seals, the distributor is very accurate and easy to use, and the fact that they have storage boxes is great for keeping everything clean and not the usual storage or "in-the-field" dirt and dust is exposed. I would recommend them to anyone who needs and can handle a refrigerant manifold gauge kit. Just be prepared to buy a replacement hose seal kit.
