I travel a lot for work and am single so it's nice to have something to feed my fish so I don't have to worry about someone stopping or arguing, if little guys can go without eat as long as they want i'm sure they'll be fine but i feel guilty haha. It is very easy to program. This works on both of my tanks, one with a rim and one without. The only slight downside is that when the feed level goes down the remaining pellets will fall back to the bottom away from the hole so no feed comes out. Also if you keep it full enough to prevent a dry start. Then you will pour a lot of food into the tank. Even with just 1 "click" opening, a lot of food gets thrown in. All in all great!
