Review on Electric stabilizer for DJI OM 5 athens gray smartphone by Avut Sookjit ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The item is average, not sure if it's worth the money.

: minus a point for the crookedness of MIMO - I managed to check the timelapses - some kind of slag is removed that cannot be played even in the application itself and hyperlapse (everything is better, but very noisy and the quality is sad) - it's good if they fix it, but the sediment remains. Initial report: osmo mobile version 5 is not a revolution, but a set of notable improvements compared to the previous version - smaller size, better tracking, more shooting modes. As for the smoothness of shooting - I used the first osmo pocket before, I haven’t noticed any magical increase in smoothness yet. The main disadvantages - the Mimo application does not use the smartphone's matrix to the fullest (unlike pocket, where everything was squeezed out of the matrix) - the quality of photos / videos in mimo, especially at night, on Google Pixel 4 is much worse than the native camera. Stitches panoramas so-so (apparently, the difference in optics affects - there is no universal way to stitch an image from different optics without fine tuning. Well, the mimo application got stuck in the play market on last year's version - it raced with pairing for half an hour (this version of the stub with he is not friendly with him), until he guessed to scan the QR from the box, leading to a direct download of the APK (hence, the Chinese have a free hand in terms of advertising modules and solid functionality that is prohibited for publication in the Google app store. To sum up: some kind of jump in quality I don’t see pictures and smoothness compared to the first generation of Pocket, but in terms of size - there are two big differences - you can’t put mobile in your pocket. didn’t notice the quality of the picture between OP1 and OM5) If you need a smartphone stub - in terms of product / app quality, competitors, objectively, do not live up to DJI, at least and a little expensive (compared to Zhiyun Smooth 4 / FeiyuTech Vimble 2 - the difference in price is almost x2 and is it worth it - everyone decides for himself)

Pros
  • The design looks reliable, built-in telescopic extension (useful when you need a tripod higher or you need to remove the grass closer, for example); improved tracking (compared to first generation osmo pocket)
Cons
  • Until I noticed super-stabilization (I compare with osmo pocket); mimo application does not use the full potential of the smartphone matrix; no built-in power bank; the version of the application in the Google market stopped ating last year - all ates in the APK via a direct link from the Chinese DJI website
