I consider myself a person who takes good care of things. The original basket lasted a little over 1 year. I use the air fryer 2-3 times a week. I live alone. I wash it gently, sometimes soaking it before putting it in the dishwasher, or hand washing it completely. I don't cook super fat food. Mostly chicken animals. I had a previous one, same model and size, and at the time we had 2 people cooking almost every day and this original basket lasted 3 years. We used to put everything there. I really hope this replacement lasts longer. I've been using it for 3 months so far so good.
