If you have a clear idea of your ideal use case, these motion sensors are great. They are best used in places where you don't spend much time and all you will ever need is either light (evening), dark (late night) or no light at all (daytime). I have three of these in hallways where I don't need an adjustable light. I have two of these in bathrooms where you will likely need another light source (ideally a vanity light) that you can manually turn on or off as needed. I also have a sensor in the dressing room and one in the basement under the house. For all of these areas, I need to toggle between bright, dim, or no light at all, and these dimmer switches work quickly and consistently. I wouldn't put them in bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms or living rooms where you spend a lot of time and therefore probably want to cycle through custom scenes and don't want the lights to turn off at short intervals. When used correctly, these motion sensors have exceeded my expectations.
