Review on Command Forever Classic Brushed FC13 BN 2ES by Jeffrey Nunes

I bought these for a cornice on a 36 inch bedroom window. I don't want to drill the rod mount. I washed the walls (painted drywall) with alcohol and followed the instructions for T. Two hours later I attached a cornice with a one-piece curtain to the hooks. After 10 minutes one of the hooks fell off the wall and took the paint with it. The packaging says these hooks have a weight limit of 5 pounds, but I can guarantee the bar plus plate weigh no more than 2 pounds. So now I have to fix where the paint came off and find another solution. I then decided to reuse that single hook with new tape. Following the same instructions, I hung the hook on the wall in the laundry room. This time it took an hour and a half while holding a feather duster! then fell off the wall. I don't know if it's a hook, tape or something else but I no longer use 3M products. They cost so much and they just don't work as well as advertised. I think I'll try gorilla glue or duct tape instead.
