Very strong and durable case. Does exactly what I need for 50 amps. generator input. And now the bad news. 1) If you're working with a large wire (I used 6/3), you have a job to do. There is little room for manipulation on the back of the box. 2) The front cover does not stay up. This causes installation/connection issues when working alone. 3) The 2 mounting screws holding the front panel are TOO SMALL! (it's in a box with little room for fingers) 4) As others have said, knockouts aren't knockouts. Learn to drill, cut, use a dremel or something. The metal is also thick and durable. 5) If you are mechanical/electrical, not good at troubleshooting/modifications or don't have tools, this box is not for you. Even if you plan to use a large wire, you better be prepared to put some time into the job. After all, this box is a tough sob and should last forever! You only pay the price in advance. I am satisfied and recommend if you can complete the challenge! Don't say you weren't warned.
